What we store

When you join early access, we store:

• your email address,
• the date and time you joined,
• the page you joined from (for example, /download),
• the version of the consent text shown next to the form.

That is all. We do not store your IP address, your browser's user agent, or any other information about your device.

What we use it for

We use your email address only to contact you about KalCode early access and launch. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add it to anyone else's list.

Confirming your address

We haven't sent any email yet. Before we send anything else, our first message will ask you to confirm that you signed up. Addresses that aren't confirmed are deleted. The form can't check who owns an address, so if you get a confirmation request you didn't expect, ignore it and your address will be removed.

Where it is kept

The list is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated for kalcoded.com. We keep your address until you remove it or until we close the early-access list, whichever comes first.

Removing your address deletes it from the list immediately. Cloudflare keeps point-in-time recovery copies of D1 databases for up to 30 days, so a removed address can remain in those copies until they expire.

Your voice and KalVoice

This site never uses your microphone. In the KalCode app, KalVoice (in development) transcribes dictation on your device. Voice audio is held in memory only while it is transcribed, then discarded. It is not retained, not uploaded, and never reaches us or this site. The speech model is downloaded only if you agree to it.

When you ask KalVoice something that needs reasoning, the request goes to the AI provider you connected, under your own account and that provider's terms, exactly as if you used the provider directly. It does not pass through KalCode's servers.

Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider

kalcoded.com runs on Cloudflare. Like any network provider, Cloudflare processes technical request data — such as your IP address — to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under its own privacy policy. To stop automated abuse, the early-access form counts requests per IP address using Cloudflare's rate limiting; that short-lived counter is not stored by us. Our own server logs record errors only and never contain email addresses or IP addresses.

No analytics, no cookies

This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no third-party scripts. We set no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if its bot protection is triggered for a request.

If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

Remove your email

Enter the address you used and we will delete it from the early-access list. For your privacy, the confirmation is the same whether or not the address was on the list.

Changes

If what we collect changes — for example, when KalCode accounts arrive at launch — we will update this notice before the change takes effect and change the date at the top of the page.
